Welcome to Angel Fire, New Mexico, home of the nicest, friendliest people you may ever hope to meet.
My wife Vicki and I bought property at Angel Fire back in 1994 and moved here full time in 1999 after I retired from a 30 year career in the trucking industry. We were attracted to the area because of the skiing, hiking and golfing. We built a house on 10 acres in Taos Pines and went to work as ski instructors and technicians. For two years, I served as President of the Moreno Valley Trekkers, our local hiking club, and Vicki opened an art gallery where her work and that of other local artists is displayed.
We moved to the Village proper in 2005, and in 2006 I went , according to Vicki, somewhat out of control and ran for Village Council. I was elected and, after some prodding by friends, ran for the Mayorship in 2008. I know this area and the people who live here. We have made some of the best friends of our life, and I would look forward to introducing you to the place we call home and the people we have grown to love.
